Join us for an enlightening program that delves into the rich history of the Mormon presence in Council Bluffs on Monday, October 21 at 6 p.m. at the Council Bluffs Public Library. Learn about the pivotal role this area played in the westward migration of the Latter-day Saints during the mid-1800s, including their settlement at the historic Kanesville (modern-day Council Bluffs). Discover how the city became a key location during the Mormon Trail, as well as the impact this period had on the community, culture, and development of Council Bluffs.
