The Library is offering two fantastic book clubs this summer! Our clubs focus on gathering kids with their peer groups for fun experiences inspired by books and book characters.
For kids entering grades 1-3 (ages 6-8), we are hosting a Beginning Readers Book Club. Each week is focused on popular characters like Pete the Cat, Narwhal & Jelly, and Binky the Space Cat (to name only a few!). Group reading will be followed by a coordinating activity, including but not limited to slime making, character BINGO, ice cream making, and more!
For kids entering grades 4-6 (ages 9-11), we have a Choose Your Own Adventure Club. Each week, participants will read a CYOA book and vote on their path through the story. Reading will be followed be a coordinating activity, including crafts, an escape room, an obstacle course, and even zombie potion making!
Both clubs require registration and you should register for every week your child plans to attend. Weekly participation is not required. Caregivers do not need to attend club sessions, but must remain in the Library.
Space is limited. Sign up today!
