Summer Reading Challenge 2023

Our Summer Reading Challenge runs from May 26 – August 12. We’re online again this year and have challenges available for ALL AGES! Register at councilbluffslibrary.beanstack.org or through the Beanstack Tracker app, available for free wherever you download apps.

As a Library, we are offering 4 challenges this year:

  • Ages 0-5
  • Grades K-6
  • Grades 6-12
  • Ages 18-99

If you are an adult registering a child, please note that you will need to enter your own information first under the heading “Adult Information” and enter your child’s information under the heading “Reader’s Information.” Multiple children can be attached to one adult’s account and you can use your account creator profile to track your own reading and activities too!

How it works:

  1. Register and pick up a prize – a yard sign & book for kids, a mini microphone for teens, and a laser light whistle keychain for adults.
  2. YOU CHOOSE! Track time spent reading, activities completed, or a mix of both! You can log your reading and activities through the website or by downloading the Beanstack Tracker app to your tablet or mobile device.
  3. When you have earned any 5 reading or activity badges, return to the Library to pick up another prize! Kids get to choose another free book, teens get a t-shirt, and adults can choose a bookbag tote or a notebook & pen.

Our Summer Reading Club at the Library is designed to inspire free choice in reading and encourage patrons of all ages to have a little extra fun with reading all summer long. If you have any questions, please contact the Library at 712-323-7553.
