Opera Omaha has given Council Bluffs Public Library complimentary tickets to hand out for the showing of Giulio Cesare on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. at the Orpheum Theater.

As of 1/6/25 , all PACE Main Show passes have been handed out. We will announce in the future if we have another giveaway. 

We want to provide a space and a place to allow our patrons to GROW in their knowledge of gardening, seed saving, homegrown food and everything in-between! 

Stop by and visit the library at the farmers market this summer!

We will have information on summer reading, library events, and library programs.
If you need to update accounts or renew materials, we can do that too. 

April 9, 2024 is National Library Workers Day.

This year to celebrate, we're picking a name for our new employee, the sorting machine, and we want the community's help!

As of May 2nd, 2024, we have given away our last Opera Omaha ticket. We will announce in the future when we have another giveaway. 

Every few years, the Council Bluffs Public Library adopts a new strategic plan.

Update 2/20/24: At this moment, the book return is open and ready for use!

The 24 hour outside book return will be closed from February 12 to February 20. During this time please return library materials inside the library.

Games are a fun and motivating way to learn something new!
